Karin Borovcová
(*1996)From Prague, Czech Republic
Currently based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands
Karin is an artist, designer, and creative explorer who moves fluidly between objects, set design, and performance to uncover hidden stories in the world around her.
Rooted in material exploration and research, Karin’s process begins with curiosity. Each object she creates carries meaning; it speaks, provokes, and reveals fragments of narrative that she brings out through a strong instinct for storytelling. Her practice is guided by a deep interest in the body, space, and emotion.
Karin approaches every project as an experiment, a chance to test new techniques and ways of seeing. Whether initiating collaborations or getting hands-on in production, she thrives in the in-between spaces where disciplines meet.
Having spent over five years traveling full-time and living with diverse communities around the world, Karin’s work is informed by global perspectives and lived experience.
In parallel, Karin has developed a distinct practice as a tattoo artist, merging traditional handpoke techniques with modern machine tattooing. Her tattoos, like her designs, tell stories, permanent art on skin capturing personal experience.
