I experimented with different colored epoxies on mirrors, creating hazy reflections and unexpected, organic patterns. The mirror was part of a setup for projecting a video, positioned so that the audience that sat in front of it saw both the video and their own reflections layered together.
My goal was to make the viewer feel as if they were inside the video — merging their presence with the projected imagery. Rather than conveying factual information, I wanted to evoke an emotional understanding; to blur the lines between the self, the screen, and the space.
